Business Intelligence or “BI” is a business term to describe any technology used to deliver information to key managers and staff from the multitude of data sources that your business will have available.
Many companies will have collected a large store of data from their day to transactions, but many are not utilising that data to help drive their company forwards.
Intradev offer a number of tools that allow the interrogation of these data sources and convert the data into useful information. These include Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, Spindle Document Management Software, Orbis Task Centre Alerting Software and Real Time Digital Dashboards. Intradev has experience in setting up and configuring these tools, either stand-alone or as part of a larger systems project and can help a business get the most out of them.
Crystal Reports Crystal Reports from Business Objects is a feature rich graphical tool that allows reports to be generated from various data sources. The reports can be produced and viewed using one of the Crystal Reports stand-alone products or via the Crystal Reports Server application.
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is part of the Microsoft SQL Server database that allows reports to be generated which may then be delivered via email, Adobe Acrobat PDF or printed in a standard manner. Reporting Services is similar to Crystal Reports but comes integrated with SQL Server.
Spindle Professional Spindle from Draycir is a document distribution solution that creates, professionally finished documents by merging information from any system, (e.g. Sage 200) with ‘form backdrops’ such as your company logo, lines and colours. These documents are then ready for emailing, faxing, printing and archiving.
Orbis Taskcentre Alerting Software Task Centre from Orbis Software is a powerful suite of business process management technologies that enable organisations to automate manual processes and employee-driven tasks.
Real Time Digital Dashboards (Dundas Charts & Gauges) Real-time digital dashboards are generally delivered as web pages which are accessed directly from a secure web server or Corporate Intranet. They can be set-up to display KPI information in a variety of formats including charts and gauges and can be made interactive. Intradev use Dundas Chart and Gauge components to give a professional, attractive look to Digital Dashboards.
