“Our company has recently implemented Sage CRM customer relationship management system and have found it to be very effective in improving the way we communicate with our existing and prospective customers. We wanted a system that helped streamline our entire relationship management process and increase our efficiency, and we have found that both the software and the implementation by Intradev have been extremely professional. I would have no hesitation in confirming the value of using a good system, coupled with an expert installation and training provider such as Intradev”
Tim Pegg,
Sales Director, Chaucer Foods Ltd.
Brief
Chaucer are expanding rapidly, and wanted to keep a better track of customers and specific sales opportunities. In addition, Chaucer undertake a large number of development projects for their clients and keeping track of the progress of these projects and the status of samples sent to customers was difficult using their paper based records.

Approach
Intradev thoroughly reviewed Chaucer’s requirements across all areas of the business. Key members of staff were interviewed and business processes mapped and documented.
Solution
Intradev proposed a solution based on Sage’s Customer Relationship Management system, Sage CRM along with the Morsell Food Industry specific extensions. This gave Chaucer the built-in facilities to track customers, contacts and opportunities along with the Morsell elements including tracking of NPD projects and samples. Additionally, Intradev linked the CRM package into Chaucer’s existing accounts system to display key account information from within the CRM screens.
Benefit
Chaucer staff can now easily track sales opportunities and projects. Sales staff are alerted when samples have been sent allowing them to follow up samples in a timely fashion, ensuring opportunities are followed up. Staff have access to information that was simply not available before, making their jobs more straightforward.
