Crystal reports
Crystal Reports is a long standing product that has the largest number of worldwide users of any Business Intelligence product. Crystal Reports can produce formatted reports from a wide range of data sources (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Sybase, IBM DB2, MySql, Oracle, Informix and Ingress) even utilising different data sources on the same report.
Users can be trained to create their own reports and can use a stand-alone version of the product to create and consume reports.
Crystal Reports Server can be used to deliver reports via a web interface to information consumers who can drill-down in interactive reports to get to the information they need. The server can also be used to schedule the production and delivery of reports via e-mail.
Crystal Reports can also be embedded in Custom Software applications to bring powerful reporting facilities to bespoke software.
Reports can also be exported in a wide variety of formats including Excel, Word and PDF.
