Brief
Delta had a number of issues with their internal processes including tracking orders, and tracking the components and timber used in the production of a caravan. The existing processes were manual and paper based resulting in inefficiencies and inaccuracies that were causing delays in production.

Approach
Intradev reviewed Delta’s manual processes and designed systems to exactly meet Delta’s requirements.
Solution
Intradev developed an Access based database system that stores information on the components used in the production of a caravan. The system can generate cutting lists in various formats, including pre-formatted labels that are used to identify each cut component. An order module to track caravan orders from sales through to final despatch has also been developed.
Benefit
Implementation of the system has improved the efficiency of the manufacturing process, reduced the number of queries made by staff and reduced the amount of wastage.
