“Intradev converted our multi company system to the latest version of Sage 200 in a timely and professional manner and benefits of using the new system include great improvement in speed due to the use of the Microsoft SQL Server database.”
Andrew Pickering,
Finance Director, Hull Fish Auction Ltd.
Brief
Fishgate and its sister companies including Isberg had used Sage MMS right from the start with V1.0. Due to increasing risks of using old hardware and versions of software that would in time not be supported it was decided to move right up to the latest version of Sage 200. Intradev were chosen as the preferred supplier and seven of Fishgate’s companies were converted.

Approach
Before commencing the project, Intradev performed a review of the current practices at Fishgate and performed a dry run of converting what was considered to be the most complex company. The converted system was checked against the existing system to ensure that there would be no data loss between the two companies prior to the actual go live.
Solution
As Fishgate were already familiar with the functionality of Sage MMS V1.0 the ideal situation was to upgrade to the latest version of the software which is now Sage 200. As Sage provide tools to aid in the migration, backed by Intradev’s expertise this upgrade was performed.
Benefit
Fishgate have the latest version of the Sage mid market accounts package, Sage 200 V4.0 which runs on the industry standard Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database which means improved reliability and speed of operation, with a system that is supportable. All historical data has been converted and a familiar look and feel ensure that users are comfortable with the software.
