Europa Caravans are a well-established manufacturer of holiday homes, serving the UK and export markets. As part of the service offering to their customers, Europa have a team of field based engineers that visit caravan parks and sites to rectify any issues notified to them.
This process was traditionally managed through paper forms being supplied to the engineers when they returned to the factory base. These would then be completed, returned to the office and the Job Management System updated by admin staff. Europa expressed a desire to automate this process by equipping the engineers with mobile devices that could be used to notify them of jobs that needed undertaking and for the updates to be captured directly and transferred automatically.
Intradev have worked closely with Europa for many years and designed an app to meet the needs of this business scenario. Jobs are assigned to Engineers via changes made to the existing management system. The new mobile app captures and display these jobs for the engineer to use. Feedback on completion of the jobs is captured by the app, and seamlessly fed back to the management system.
The new Engineer Mobile App has improved efficiency in the aftersales process, and positive feedback has been received from both the engineers and the customers.
